The president of the Association of Citizens “Pazar Civil Movement”, Irfan Ugljanin, on his Facebook profile, accused director of the general hospital, Meho Mahmutović, and founder of the Sandzak Democratic Party, Rasim Ljajić, of ordering an attack on him.
He said that the goal of the attackers was to permanently and secretly liquidate him, and that they contacted him by phone earlier that day.
“It is true that we spoke on the phone, Rijad Murtezić called me saying they allegedly had a leak at the pool in the weekend house, because some children were tampering with something, so could I fix it. Obviously, that wasn't true, he just needed to lure me and kill me. Maybe they would have cut me up and chopped me into pieces, maybe they would have thrown me in the freezer, so no one would find me, “said Ugljanin.
Ugljanin described the horrific details of the attack, which disturbed the public.
“They started beating me violently. I tried to defend myself. They also threw a table at me. At one point, Vahid Smailagić stepped on my head and body. My ribs were crushed. ”
He added that the organizer of the attack was former Serbian minister Rasim Ljajic.
“This is the epitome of who Rasim Ljajic is. This is how he took power, with murders, fights, throwing bombs, setting cars on fire, this is how he ruled and this is how he will leave. A shame for the city, a man without scruples, “said Ugljanin.
Ugljanin accused the director of the General Hospital, Meho Mahmutović, and the manager of the District Prison in Novi Pazar, Sabina Dolovac, of placing the attackers in the hospital, instead of in the prison as previously ordered by the prosecutor.
“Mahmutović signed the medical report and thus placed the liquidators in the hospital. The director of the prison allowed the detainees to go to the hospital, even though she knew the reason was unjustified, “Ugljanin wrote on his Facebook profile.
We are reminded that police in Novi Pazar arrested three people on February 1: Vahid Smilagić (31), Cad Bećirović (31) and Rijad Murtezić (34) on suspicion of committing the crime of violent behavior.
