Dana 08.03.2023. godine, predsjednik Mešihata Islamske zajednice u Srbiji muftija dr. Mevlud ef. Dudić primio je ambasadoricu Velike Britanije u Beogradu g-đu Šan Meklaud.
Na početku, gospođa Meklaud je muftiji Dudiću uputila saučešće povodom stradanja četvoro djece u požaru u Novom Pazaru.
Na sastanku je bilo riječi o odnosu države prema Islamskoj zajednici, islamskim kulturno-historijskim spomenicima i povraćaju oduzete vakufske imovine.
Također, ambasadorica se interesovala o ekonomskom stanju u Novom Pazaru i Sandžaku, perspektivama mladih u regiji, te infrastrukturi i investicijama na ovim prostorima.
Sagovornici su se saglasili da su turistički potencijali ovoga kraja neiskorišten resurs u koji je potrebno značajno investiranje.
