Novi Pazar – Djordje Balasevic, a performing artist from Serbia, before performing in Novi Pazar apologized during the press conference as well as at the start of the concert to Muslims for the song ‘O tetku’ (About uncle) in which he offended the feelings of Muslims.
Asked by a SANA Agency journalist to comment on the conviction on account of the song “O tetku” where Balasevic curses God, initially he tried to explain that it is a jargon and humorous song with which he had no intention to offend anyone, but in the end he said that he is sorry to all those who felt offended in any way.
However, Balasevic wasn't satisfied with just apologizing at the press conference, he later repeated the apology before the beginning of the concert in the Hall of Culture in front of the entire audience and was greeted with great ovations.
He added that he has no problem with God, and that after the war in Sarajevo he was a herald of peace, which he is today in Novi Pazar.
Sandzak PRESS welcomes Djordje Balasevic's apology. On this day civilized people who love their faith triumph, whilst retrograde haters of faith and identity are defeated.
