Najdjelotvorniji je kada se koristi u sirovom stanju, mada se u prodaji mogu na\u0107i i brojni suplementi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maslinovo ulje<\/strong><br \/>\nSni\u017eava \u0161tetni i stimuli\u0161e pove\u0107anje korisnog holesterola. Spre\u010dava pretvaranje \u0161tetnog holesterola u toksi\u010dni ili \u201coksidisani\u201d oblik i tako \u0161titi arterije od plaka.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kurkuma<\/strong><br \/>\nRezultati studija pokazuju da glavni aktivni sastojak ove za\u010dinske biljke \u2013 kurkumin<strong>sni\u017eava holesterol<\/strong> i <strong>spre\u010dava stvaranja krvnih ugru\u0161aka<\/strong>. Osim toga, ima i sna\u017eno<strong>antikancerogeno dejstvo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grejpfrut<\/strong><br \/>\nPulpa ovog ploda sadr\u017ei pektin koji sni\u017eava holesterol u krvi i prevenira aterosklerozu. Sok nema ovu mo\u0107 pa je va\u017eno da se grejpfrut konzumira cijeli.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0110umbir<\/strong><br \/>\nSni\u017eava holesterol i trigliceride koje proizvodi jetra. Naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e se koristi kao za\u010din, ali se od ovog ljekovitog korijena priprema i \u010daj.
